Beginners Guide to Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging (FLIM)

This symposium will cover a wide spectrum of techniques, methods and applications of FLIM. It aims to deliver easy to understand theoretical concepts as well as ready to apply how-to practical sessions.

Over the course of a week, participants will learn the principles and key issues in the field of data acquisition and analysis, and what approaches are available that might be applicable in their research. The hands-on sessions will serve as tutorials for everyone regardless how new or experienced one might be in the field.

The overall goal is to provide life scientists with practical knowledge ready to apply in their daily work. It will also serve as an opportunity for FLIM experts to get to know each other, share expertise and establish collaborations. We intend to provide an opportunity for a nontraditional learning experience.

We encourage participation of students, postdocs, scientific staff and PIs from all fields of the life sciences.
